Begin Your School Application in a Few Simple Steps
We are delighted that you are considering our wonderful school in Sotogrande for your child's education. We aim to ensure that the Admission Process is simple and enjoyable for prospective parents and students.
To apply for a place at our school, please follow the steps below and begin your journey towards securing your child's education at one of the best schools in the world.

Register Your Interest
Thank you for your interest in Sotogrande International School (SIS). Please complete the Enquiry Form and let us know if you wish to visit us.
Open Days are held throughout the school year on Saturdays. For specific dates and further details, please visit our Open Days Page.

Complete the Application Form
If you wish to proceed with the admissions process, please return to the Open Apply platform to complete the Application Form and upload the school reports from the last two years, translated into English.
Once we begin the assessment, we will request the registration fee:
- Primary: €350 per child
- Secondary: €550 per child

Examination
Primary Students in PYP5 (9 years old) and PYP6 (10 years old) in their year of entry will complete an online Cognitive Test, invigilated by a member of the Admissions Team.
Secondary Students aged 11 to 15 years will complete an online assessment comprising:
- Cognitive test (as described above, invigilated by Admissions)
- iDAT 360ª Assessment – a secure online platform allowing students to take the exam from home under proper exam conditions.
Diploma and A level students aged (16 to 18 years) will complete an online assessment invigilated by Admissions comprising:
- Cognitive test
- English assessment
- Maths assessment

Admissions Review and Conditions
The Admissions Committee will carefully review your child’s application and assessment and will provide you with the outcome.
Diploma students will have an online interview with the IB Coordinator as part of the admissions process.
It is important to us that Sotogrande International School is the right fit for your child(ren) and your family, so we may contact you or the school for additional information if we have any outstanding queries at this stage.

Successful Application
You will receive an email informing you of the outcome of your application. Upon successful application, you will receive the offer letter with the payment conditions.
At that point, we will require all the following forms and documents to be completed and uploaded to OpenApply:
- Copy of student’s passport
- Copy of parents’ passports
- Copy of student’s NIE
- Copy of parents’ NIE
- Contract signed by both parents
- Image Consent Form
All documents and forms need to be with us before your child starts school at SIS. Please note that if relevant information is withheld at the time of application, the school reserves the right to withdraw from the place offered at a later date.
